For just over a week now Magnolia Pearl has been put in the gym daycare for 1 or 2 hours a day. She started off liking it. She crawled away from me the first time I took her into the room and right into a group of big kids. When I came back she was very upset that I had left her. Then every time we would walk into the daycare she started screaming and would only be okay if she was held the entire time. Today I left her and I could hear her crying for 30 seconds, then she stopped. I peeked through the window and she was playing in a walker. Not being held! I came back into the room after my workout and she didn't cry when she saw me, she crawled over to me with a smile on her face. We have only missed one day of the past 7 so I think she understands that I will be back to get her and it's okay for her to play. I'm so pleased that she is starting to enjoy being with the other kids.
