She was really happy when I was taking these photos, don't be fooled by the crazy face she made in the first picture. She decided that she did not want to be rocked to sleep last night. She whined until I put her in her bed and then she was really happy. I took a few pictures and left the room. I didn't hear a peep from her until 6am.

Have I mentioned that she loves watermelon? She is such a great eater. She will try anything and love it most of the time.

A typical weekend wakeup. She likes to grab onto the headboard and jump on the bed. It's adorable.

MP is all over the house. I cannot contain her! Here she is just getting into stuff :)

We went over to a friend's house for dinner. Magnolia Pearl always dressed to impress. She paired this adorable dress with a purple headband and purple socks.

Her very first experience with sidewalk chalk was a great one!

Tuesday was a very warm day. My poor baby breaks out in heat rash if the temperature rises above 80, so I treated her to her very first popsicle. It also helped with the pain of her front right top tooth that finally broke through!

Monday we enjoyed the warm breeze as we ate orange slices and planted poppy seeds.

I think I may have a girly girl on my hands!

I spent my Saturday away from Magnolia Pearl for the longest time since she was born. From 11am-6:30pm I filmed a wedding. You can see the video I made of it here

We had MP's 9 month check-up today. She is 26th percentile for weight and 81st percentile for height. She is as healthy as a horse!

Not the most flattering photo of Magnolia, but as you can see her top tooth is just about out! We were out picking up her birthday party invitation supplies when we noticed it. We didn't wear green today- we actually forgot until after noon. I believe we celebrated St. Patty's day last year a day late so I suppose it is a tradition. We do love our corned beef and cabbage so I am excited for it in the near future.

Here is a video of Magnolia Pearl showing off her new dancing skills earlier today.

As you can imagine, we were exhausted by Monday. We did as little as possible all day long :)

Our last day in St. Augustine was spent exploring the Fort and town. We drove back to NC late in the evening.

What a beautiful wedding! Miss Magnolia loves a party, but partied a little too hard. She missed most of the reception due to her slumber. The Bride, Mrs. Amanda McGowin (I am honored for her to have my old name) was so beautiful. I know they are going to have a very happy life together. I am so proud of my brother. If you have ever wondered where Magnolia gets her cute elf ears, check out Uncle Brian's ears :)

We left our home in North Carolina and made the 10 hour drive to St. Augustine in the wee hours of the morning. When we arrived (at 9am!) our room was not ready so we did some exploring. We then relaxed at the hotel until the wedding rehearsal. The rehearsal dinner was beautiful and it was so nice to be in the comfort of family once again.
